A Heart full of Thanks….

Some things I just can’t write here. Some things are too personal. And although I share a strange sense of connection with you, dear readers, I find the overwhelming rush of events that I’ve encountered recently too difficult to share right now. When it rains…. well you know how that saying goes.

I am okay though and staying focused on doing the things right in front of me. The writing has been exceptionally difficult now, especially with the added strains in my life today, but I have been making progress and my agent is very excited about what is shaping into our final pages. There are blessings here, that is for certain. Friends are standing up and showing their wonderful colors of loyalty, colors I never knew were there, and the kindness of everyone on this blog, your words of encouragement, have been a real source of strength for me. To be honest, many times I have shared your posts with my agent and described to her how you have given me the courage to keep writing.

So thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. And to those of you struggling or confused, take a deep breath and simply do the next right thing.

Blessings,
Dawn

“For everything a season” and right now I know it’s hard, but ofcourse these hard times will diminish and maybe next is your turn for a bright new day.

You always have such kind heartfelt, inspiring words for people on here and I just hope that you use them pertaining to your life as well. Although sometimes it’s easier to comfort friends when they are in need than it is to comfort yourself.

I’ll pray for you and I hope things work themselves out. We all know as well as you do that you are a very strong woman!

So nice to hear from you again, dawn. I’m sorry to hear that you are having a bad time… Be sure to send me an email if you need me, ok? I support you and I always will.

And remember, if you cry because you can’t see the sun, your tears won’t let you see the stars. :)

    Dawn,
I saw the movie Wonderland about a year ago. I was completely fascinated with it and bought the movie. Just today I decided to watch it for like the 10th time and at the end it mentions that you wrote a book. I became curious and started research on the Internet to find out more and came across this site. I have to tell you that I’m beyond shock. You are more inspirational than one could ever imagine. I can’t explain myself but I wanted to say thanks. Thank you.

    Laura

Hello. I just watched the movie again last night (I’ve seen it a few times) and wanted to purchase your book. I have been unable to find it anywhere. Please advise how I can buy a copy.
    Kind regards,
    Gigirenee

Hi Gigi. I’m not Dawn, but I saw you asked about buying the book. If you read this entry, you found that she hasn’t yet finished the book. We have all been patiently waiting for it. :)

And to Dawn, maybe this will sound corny or something, but someone else said before that sometimes you have to go through the valley to reach the mountain top. Just hang in there!

Hang in there Dawn. You’re in my thoughts and prayers!

You need to get John out of your life and off your back. Even though he is dead, focusing on him is keeping him alive in your life. Once the book is done, you will feel much better after you move on. His spirit is around you, causing you trouble and strife as it is a negative force. In the old days, when a person killed another they made them carry around the dead person on their back until the diseases from the dead person killed them as well. Get him off your back as soon as possible! Stop carrying him around before he destroys you! You will feel much better! Let go of what is gone. Remember the good, but put it far away from you as soon as possible. Others have, and so should you. Good luck and may peace find you soon.
    Julia

  15. Carol Says:

Like Sharon reportedly told you in the movie, Dawn, put all the bad stuff in a box, and put it in a closet, and put it away, because it isn’t who you ARE, but things that you did. God love you, wish you all the best.
