Hi Dawn,
I am a teacher in South Georgia, and a teacher in my school (Tara Grinstead) is missing. She has been missing for a month (Oct. 22). We are trying to get her picture and information out so maybe someone in the United States will recognize her and let us know if she is still alive. She is very well respected in Ocilla, GA and her hometown of Hawkinsville, GA. and we will love for her to come home. Hi,
We had a big search today for Tara in Ocilla, Ga and the surrounding area with the help of Texas EquuSearch and the search will continue tomorrow. We had around 200 volunteers to search in a 15 mile radius and no clues were uncovered. Beth Holloway Twitty, Natalie Holloway’s mother, was here yesterday and this morning showing her support.
Even though we have not found anything, we still have hope that she will be found. She is very special to us, and we will not give up trying to find her and bring her home.

I live in Brighton, MI and today for some reason Tara has been heavily on my mind. I came home and turned on Nancy Grace, low & behold, she was LIVE covering Tara’s case! Even though I am miles away from Tara’s hometown, I am praying for Tara, her family & friends.

Hi,
We had another search this weekend with the Texas Equusearch team. There were some items found that could be evidence, but we will not know anything until the items are analyzed at the crime lab. The Texas Equusearch Team is so wonderful. They are staying in Ocilla for most of the week conducting some searches, and if they do not find anything, they are coming back.
Dawn, THANKS so much for putting Tara’s picture and information on your website. I would also like to thank those who are keeping Tara and her family in their prayers. We are not giving up on finding her, and miracles can happen.

Dawn,
Thanks so much, and I know you and others are praying for Tara, her family and friends. I think if it was not for God, we would not be as strong as we are.
Saturday morning, a teacher showed a tape of a talent show we had at school last year, and since Tara is a beauty queen and has a wonderful voice, she sang in the show. All of us that know her had such a hard time watching it. I even noticed that people who did not know her and spent their Saturday looking for her, had tears in their eyes. I know that was a big boost and made them want to look for her even harder.

I noticed that no one has given an update on Tara’s case in over a year. Please do not think we have stopped looking. I am a member of the Tara Search Center and we are still actively chasing leads.
We speak with Chief Hancock almost weekly. We still need your prayers and support in bringing Tara home. I never knew Tara but for the last year and four months that I have been helping search for her and helping her family I feel as though I know her. Please pray for Tara, her family, and the searchers.
