A few days ago was the anniversary of the wonderland tragedy. Let’s remember everyone and, without being judgemental, honor their memories. You are an absolute inspiration!!! I was recently flipping through the channels late and Wonderland was just beginning. I had never seen the movie before as I have four children and it is hard to get the privacy to watch a “grown up” movie. After some Googling I found this website and have become so inspired. I am 13 years sober now and I too was a victim of violence and through God’s Grace able to take my life back. I love my children and am very involved in their lives but sometimes feel like something is missing. Like, God have me this beautiful gift of sobriety and I survived years of unthinkable violence, what am I doing with it? Your bio and website are inspiring - I see now that there are so many ways to get involved and give back what I have received. I think is is wonderful that you and Sharon are still so close. The past is the past, what we have done in the past IS NOT who we are today. You are both beautiful and strong woman and it is such a blessing to see you using the talents God blessed you with to their fullest potential.

Dawn - My boyfriend and I watched Wonderland tonight. He had seen the movie before and loved it, I had never seen it. I could not take my eyes or ears away from the TV. I was so gripped by this story that I had never heard before. What strength you must have! The movie hardly touches on the abuse you suffered. I thought it made John seem like the vulnerable one. What strength Sharon must have….it baffles me why she would accept her husband’s lover into her life and her home. When I read that she had moved in with you, tears came to my eyes. What a powerful bond the two of you must share. I would love to read your story, I hope your book is on it’s way.

It’s good to see that I’m not the only one still curious about the people involved in the Wonderland murders. They have been below the radar for so long. The fact that it is so difficult to get accurate information/whereabouts about these people only fuels everyone’s curiousity. Dawn-Thank you for your website. The movie sheds light on a dark series of events, but in the end-it only raises more questions. I have researched the net & even purchased 2 low budget documentaries John Holmes/Wonderland DVD’s (Man,Myth, Legend). I also have the E True Hollywood story, but my low grade copy has gaps. A few ?’s I can’t get my mind around:
1)Is there any correspondence between John Holmes & David Lind after the murders? Trial or otherwise?
2) After John & Dawn (Hi Dawn) left for Florida, did John ever correspond with Eddie Nash again? How about David Lind? Susan Lanius? Tracy McCourt? Sharon Holmes has said that she never spoke to John again, but there had to be a few meetings?
3) Did Susan Lanius ever face Eddie Nash or Greg Diles in court?
4) How much of the loot from the Nash robbery did David Lind keep?
5) How much of the stolen goods were recovered by Nash’s crew @ the time of Wonderland hit?
6) Did Nash really get busted with a bunch of coke a few days after the Wonderland Murders?
7) Is David Lind alive? Where?
8) Was Nash present at the time of the Wonderland murders?
9) On the night of the murders-Did John enter the Wonderland house with a code for the gate???, or did he have to get buzzed in??? Had he been in the house earlier and simply left the door open?
10) What happened to the tell-all book John supposedly wrote while jailed for contempt of court?
There are so many ?’s that come to mind. Can anybody associated with these events/people accurately answer any of these ?’s –Andy
